About Thames Valley Aesthetics
Mr Simon Thorpe
Hi, my name is Simon Thorpe. I am the owner and founder of Thames Valley Aesthetics and would be delighted to welcome you for a consultation to discuss your potential treatments.
Passionate paramedic turned Advanced Clinical Practitioner, I bring over 20 years of diverse medical experience, from emergency medicine to aesthetics. As the founder of Thames Valley Aesthetics, I'm dedicated to ensuring my patients receive exceptional care and personalized treatment.
With a wealth of global experience in clinical and safety roles, I blend worldliness with hands-on care in the NHS, tackling 'on the day' cases and performing minor operations weekly. Passionate about patient well-being, I strive to make a difference every day. I maintain my HCPC registration by working in a nearby GP surgery.
I have trained with multiple aesthetics training providers but the majority of it has been with the Derma Institute in London. My MSc in Advanced Clincial Practice was from 2017 at Warwick Medical School, and I am an independent prescriber since 2019. Typically I do 4-5 dermatology, surgical or aestheics trainings courses per year as CPD.
I'm Rebecca Nafousi, a qualified nurse with over 16 years of experience in emergency and paediatric care. I hold a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) and have spent much of my career in high-pressure clinical environments, where I developed the precision, care, and judgement that now underpin my work in aesthetics.
My passion for helping people feel confident in their own skin led me to complete the OTHM Level 7 Diploma in Aesthetic Medicine—an advanced qualification that allows me to deliver safe, effective, and personalised aesthetic treatments. I specialise in natural-looking, medically led enhancements including anti-wrinkle treatments and skin rejuvenation.
As both a healthcare professional and a mother of three, I understand the importance of self-care and how transformative small, well-considered treatments can be. I believe in honest advice, clinical excellence, and building long-term relationships with my clients based on trust.
In every consultation and treatment, I aim to create a safe, supportive environment where clients feel heard, respected, and confident in their choices. My goal is simple: to help you look and feel your best—refreshed, not overdone—through subtle, thoughtful aesthetic care grounded in medical expertise.
